Televes

The solution designed aims to support the prevention and comprehensive management of frailty to promote independent living and well-being, based on cyber-physical solutions for the improvement of comprehensive care services. To this end, it aims to integrate, develop and validate innovative solutions that put the elderly at the centre of the equation and that respond, among others, to the needs of providing universal and independent social and health care solutions to the challenge of ageing, reducing social exclusion and changing social structures.

Also, the project aims to interconnect the physical world (sensors and devices) with the virtual world of information processing to act as an enabler of the hyper-connected society that supports the detection, management and education of frailty in older adults, through social and health care services. The technologies developed are at the service of professionals and users, where the ultimate goal is the efficient management of chronicity, the care of dependent people and the integration of health and social services.

The solution comprises a monitoring sub-system for screening and follow-up, a digitalized older adult care model, and a virtual assistant for the delivery of preventive, therapeutic, and educational interventions.
